• Processing: more advanced processing, such as filters and envelopes.
• Analysis: translates audio blocks into other blocks.
• Synthesis: creates audio.

Specialized MarSystems:

• Network Input/Output: send data over a network.
• MIDI Input/Output and Devices: deals with MIDI.
• Machine Learning: MarSystems relating to audio classification and machine learning.

Not MarSystems, but still useful:

• Core classes: fundamental classes for Marsyas.
• Other classes: other non-MarSystem classes.
• MarsyasQt: Library for Marsyas/Qt interaction.
